The Forward Food team were recently invited back to Swansea University, bay campus to deliver a second culinary workshop, almost a year after our first workshop together. The catering team were keen to share some of the changes they had made on campus, changing their barbeque stations to serve largely plant based options with great success.
There were 9 chefs who joined the workshop who made us feel very welcome and were keen to hear about shifting dining trends and experiment with some new ingredients. The team worked well together and created some interesting and delicious plant based dishes, including a completely plant based rich and creamy mac’n’cheese and smokey sweet potatoes and black bean burgers. They had done such a good job we shared a sweet afternoon treat, with some amazing vegan cakes lovingly made by Sara at Naturally Kind foods. A big thank you to the whole team at Swansea University for making it such a great day.
