The catering giant Compass Group UK and Ireland has announced its plans to achieve Net Zero carbon emissions by 2030, joining the UN’s Race to Zero campaign.
Compass will offer its clients more plant based proteins with a greater focus on local, seasonal ingredients in the coming decade. This combined with a focus on renewable energy and electric vehicles will help them achieve their science based targets of a 65% reductions in emissions by 2030 compared to a 2019 baseline.
