In June the Forward Food team were invited to sunny St Andrews University to work with the catering team on their plant based offering. We delivered two consecutive one day workshops working with 18 chefs in total. All of the team made us feel very welcome and were very engaged and worked extremely hard to create a delicious range of plant based dishes which are sure to be a hit with staff and students alike. The workshops have informed the menu development for the autumn menu where a daily hot vegan option is served on campus.
The feedback from the team has been really positive with one of the team saying “Ditch that stuffed pepper, and step into the world of nutritional yeast and coconut yoghurts. Give the food a chance, it’s really good. You will be surprised! “
